Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bangalore is a leading organization which offers a tertiary level child health care services. The medical society functions under the control of Ministry of Education, Government of Karnataka. Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences is located in its own premises situated next to the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences at South Hospital Complex in Bangalore.
The Indira Gandhi Institute of Child health came into existence from the year 1984 and the college offers both UG and PG courses. The institution is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and the courses as well the medical college is recognized by the Medical Council of India.
