Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences
Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences was established in the year 2006. The college is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and it is recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI). Hassan Medical College provides scholarship, research, critical thinking, integrity and self directed learning to its students.
Eligibility Criteria for admission
- Students applying for UG courses should have passed 12th standard or 2nd PUC or any other equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the subjects. He / She should have scored 50% marks in each optional subject.
- The students shall take up Karnataka-CET for Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences admission. All India Exams scores are also used for selecting the candidates. However only 15% of the students are admitted through all India entrance exams and rest through the KCET.
- The candidates applying for PG courses should hold a MBBS degree and the admissions are filled up to 50% seats through State Entrance Examinations conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The remaining seats are filled up by All India Entrance Examinations which is regulated by the Director General of Health Sciences.

Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences fee structure is competitive and it as per the current norms of the other Universities and Colleges. The course fee differs for UG and PG courses and more over it differs for the candidates admitted through KCET and other all India exams.
