Government Medical College Mysore
Government Medical College, Mysore also known as Mysore Medical College is one of the oldest and most reputed medical colleges in India. The college was started in the year 1924 by Sri Krishnarajendra Wodeyar. It was the first medical college in the state of Karnataka and seventh in India. Govt. Medical College Mysore is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- The candidates must have completed their +2 or 2nd PUC or taken up an equivalent exam that is recognized by the RGUHS with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects.
- The candidates should score minimum marks in CET conducted by the Government of Karnataka or AIPMT conducted by the CBSE to take up an UG course.
- The candidates willing to take up an PG course must take up an entrance exam conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences or All India Post Graduate Medical entrance examination conducted by AIIMS.
